Participant Waiver and Release

As a contestant at Northwest Indiana's Superstar, you acknowledge that photography, audio recording, and video recording may take place during the event. By entering the event premises, you provide your consent for the use of such recordings, including their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction, for promotional purposes, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose deemed suitable by Northwest Indiana's Superstar (NWISuperstar) and its partners. These images, photos, and/or videos may also be used to promote future NWI Superstar Events or highlight the competition.

In consideration for your participation, you release NWI Superstar, its officers, employees, and all individuals involved, from any liability associated with the taking, recording, digitizing, or publication and use of photographic images, video, and/or sound recordings.

Furthermore, by entering the event premises, you waive any rights you may have to claims for payment or royalties related to the use, exhibition, streaming, televising, or other publication of these materials, regardless of their purpose or sponsorship, and irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is charged.

You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by NWI Superstar or its designated personnel.

By participating in the event, you acknowledge that you have been fully informed of your consent, waiver of liability, and release before entering. Should you have any concerns regarding this notice, please contact a member of the NWI Superstar marketing team upon your arrival at the event.
